Extending the successful ANZACS-QI platform with additional research topics
As an extension of the national ANZACS-QI system, a bolt-on service has been provided to enable the delivery of fixed-term research trials. The Cardiologists involved with ANZACS-QI wanted a facility to leverage off the core ANZACS-QI system and to add additional research related topics into the service.
Additional data forms and workflows, specific to each of the studies are presented into the core system; eligibility criteria sets can be automatically applied to patients moving through ANZACS-QI and recruited into suitable study groups.
The study specific data collection is added to the core set, and supplied to approved researchers (using Enigma’s ID Encryption as a service to further anonymise these collections). This service provides a quick and cost-effective means for research collections to be setup and removed in a manner which does not impact upon the core Registry’s function.
This service was established at the request of the ANZACS-QI Registry Trials Group, which is a sub-set of members of the NZ Cardiac Network. For more information please contact: [email protected]
